Dell has reported that desktop PC's have risen in sales by 4% since last year. Also, Dells' stocks have risen 11% on Wednesday. Also another company called PC Mall has promising results. Their sales have risen 26%. Dell and HP are going to benefit from this, although its not a large increase in sales. With all the new smartphones on the market, its surprising that PCs are still doing well.
